About SICOGG

A brief history of the Seoul International Conference on Generative Grammar

The Korean Generative Grammar Circle (KGGC), the largest scholarly organization for researchers of generative grammar in Korea founded in 1989, has been hosting its own annual international conference, i.e., the Seoul International Conference on Generative Grammar (SICOGG), for 20 years now. SICOGG features intensive lecture sessions by leading scholars in the field, which may be considered a mini summer school, as well as regular sessions for oral and poster presentations by researchers from all around the world.
