Theories in Dialogue
The general theme of GSS1 is “Theories in Dialogue”. The main idea is to approach the same topic from two different theoretical angles, thus creating a dialogue between the two theories. These dialogues will be organized in the form of two consecutive classes—taught by different teachers—each day during an entire week. The topics and teachers for GSS1 are as follows:

  1. Modelling learnability (computational linguistics)
  2. Islands (syntax)
  3. Pronouns (morphosyntax and semantics)
  4. Spell-out (morphosyntax)

Fee and grants
The fee for the GLOW Spring School is €200. GLOW will provide a limited number of grants to students attending GSS1. Read the application guidelines.
