Main Colloquium: Information for IN-PERSON presenters

TALKS:

  • 45 mins + 15 mins Q&A
  • To facilitate the hybrid format of the talk, we will be asking ALL presenters who are presenting in-person to use the provided laptop to present. This will ensure smooth transitions between talks.
  • We ask that presenters please send us your handouts and/or slides by Monday 25 April. This will enable us to both upload these onto the presentation laptop and to the GLOW45 website for participants to download ahead of time.
  • You will also be able to test the presentation on Zoom/laptop ahead of time to ensure all is working well.
  • A Slack channel will be created for your talk, for asynchronous interaction. You may use this space to upload additional content.

POSTERS:

  • 2-minute lightning talks, followed by live poster presentations in foyer.

  • The poster board format is: Poster boards provided are 4ft wide and 6ft in height. We suggest a poster of maximum dimensions 4ft wide and 4ft in heightlandscape or portrait would be fine within these dimensions.

  • In-person presenters may set up a Zoom meeting on their own laptops to facilitate participation of online co-authors at their own discretion.

Workshop: Information for presenters

  • TALKS: In-person and online presenters will follow the same format as the Main Colloquium – see above.
  • POSTERS: The poster session at the workshop will start with 5-minute lightning talks for all six posters. In-person attendees may subsequently present their posters in the ArtsTwo lounge. Each poster will have a Slack channel for asynchronous interactions.
