Linguistics and the world we live in

This year’s umbrella topic is “Linguistics and the world we live in” and features lectures on the intersection of generative linguistics and topics like education, language revitalization, language communities and Large Language Models (LLMs).

Languages deserving more attention

From 2025 on, we will add a second stream of GLOWing lectures called “Languages deserving more attention” which will happen once a year and feature an expert on a specific language (family), talking about how this language challenges or contributes to our models of generative grammar (see below).
