GLOW funding application 2026—Increasing support for diverse communities

We are pleased to announce a call for funding proposals for events within the various generative grammar approaches that are dedicated to promoting and supporting diverse communities.

Funding details and eligibility 

  • Eligible events: Scientific meetings, thematic workshops, summer schools 
  • Membership: All main organizers must hold active GLOW membership at the time of application (or provide an explanation for why they are not members)
  • Maximum award: Up to €1,500 per event.

Submission requirements

Applications must include:

1. Event description: Structured plan for the proposed event

For scientific events like workshops, include:

  • a detailed description of the theme and how it contributes to the funding goal (diverse communities) 
  • a short description of its scientific importance, including information about invited speakers if applicable

For summer schools, include:

  • a description of the main educational objectives and how they contribute to the funding goal (diverse communities)
  • information about the target audience
  • a detailed preliminary course schedule

Important Note: 

Only events that provide a concrete and realistic plan detailing how the event will support and foster the involvement of diverse communities will be funded.

Maximum length: Do not exceed 2 pages. Use Times New Roman, 12 pt font, and 1-inch margins.

2. Detailed budget: 

  • A complete breakdown of anticipated expenses
  • A complete breakdown of anticipated revenue sources

Note that only items that clearly contribute to the funding goal will be taken into consideration for funding.
